How engagements start and who we work with.
Who do you typically work with?

Where are you located? Do you work remotely?
Our office is in Ashburn, Virginia, in the Washington, DC metro area. We work with clients remotely across the United States and can arrange on-site work when an engagement calls for it.
How does the free consultation work?
It's a 30-minute call with a senior consultant. You tell us about your goals and challenges, and we give you an honest view of where we can help and what a sensible next step looks like. There's no cost and no obligation. Book one here.
How quickly can you start?
Smaller engagements such as assessments can often begin within one to two weeks of agreeing on scope. For larger programs, we'll give you a realistic start date and team plan in our proposal.
Can you work alongside our IT team and existing vendors?
Yes. Most of our engagements involve working closely with in-house teams and other partners. We fit into your tools and processes, share knowledge as we go, and leave your team stronger.

What services do you offer?
We have four practices: AI & Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Cloud Strategy & Migration
and Data & Analytics. They work together, so one partner can cover strategy, delivery and security.
Which cloud platforms do you work with?
We work with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, including multi-cloud and hybrid environments. Our advice is vendor-neutral: we recommend what fits your workloads, not what we're incentivized to sell.
Do we need perfect data before starting an AI project?
No, but you do need to understand the data behind the specific use case. We assess data quality and access early, fix the gaps that would stall a model, and start with a focused pilot. Read more in AI-powered transformation is here. Is your data ready?
Can you help us prepare for a compliance audit?
Yes. We run gap analyses against frameworks such as NIST, CMMC and SOC 2, prioritize remediation and help your team put the required controls and documentation in place. Formal certification audits are carried out by independent assessors; our job is to get you ready.

Pricing & contracts
How we price work and what to expect.
How do you price your work?
It depends on the engagement model: fixed fees for assessments, fixed price or milestone-based pricing for defined projects, time and materials for embedded experts, and a monthly retainer for ongoing advisory. See How we work.
Will we know the cost before work starts?
Yes. You'll receive a written proposal with scope, timeline, team and price before any work begins. If priorities change mid-engagement, we discuss the impact with you before anything changes.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. We're happy to sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement before you share sensitive details about your systems or business.
What happens after a project ends?
Every engagement ends with documentation, training and a structured handover so your team can run what we built. If you want continued support, our ongoing advisory model keeps a senior consultant on call.

Security & confidentiality
How we handle your systems and data.
How do you protect our data during an engagement?
We work with least-privilege access, use only the accounts and tools you approve, keep your data within agreed systems and remove our access when the work is complete. Confidentiality terms are written into our agreements.
Do you use AI tools on client data?
Only with your explicit approval and within the tools and policies you set. Where AI tools are used, we make sure your data isn't used to train third-party models without your consent.
